After training at the world famous Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin, Mark launched his career as a professional actor.
This was a career that saw him star in the leading Irish soap opera Fair City; in the international hit The Tudors; the cinema released Canadian movie Club Utopia; Robin Hood in a theatre tour of Italy; a soap opera & drama on BBC radio; TV commercials in the UK; and a string of lead roles in short films and theatrical productions.
Other notable credits include appearing in Moliere’s The Doctor in spite of Himself (sometimes known as The Reluctant Doctor), David Mamet’s Lake Boat, and Lady Gregory’s Spreading the News.
Mark was a member of Equity, Spotlight, and was represented by the well respected Fulcher Agency in Canada and the Assets Model agency in Ireland among others.
His career gave him the opportunity to act alongside the likes of Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Henry Cavill.
At various times Mark was linked with roles in Emmerdale, Heartbeat, Taggart, and Wire in the Blood.
